Chattenden Barracks Development Community Events

Homes England will shortly be undertaking engagement with the local community and stakeholders about the proposals. We would like to arrange a meeting to update you and invite your comments on the proposals ahead of these events at your convenience.

As part of this community and stakeholder outreach, two in-person engagement events will take place at Chattenden Community Centre on Swinton Avenue, in Chattenden (details attached). This is an opportunity for local communities to help us better understand the area and what is important to them and so help us shape our proposals for the redevelopment of the site.

The details of the events are as follows:

• Wednesday 26 February 2025: 2pm to 8pm
• Saturday 1 March 2025: 11am to 5pm

Homes England is also preparing to launch a website and Facebook page for Chattenden Barracks to provide information to your residents: www.chattendenbarracks.co.uk.

This will provide an overview of progress and proposals as they develop throughout the process and address specific areas of interest as they emerge and will invite feedback via email, web, freephone and freepost channels.
